CII Pune organised its 26th Annual Meeting on Wednesday, 25th February 2026 in Pune

 

Following the Annual Meeting, the Council announced Mr Subhasis Das, Cluster President & Managing Director, Alfa Laval India Pvt Ltd as the Chairman of CII Pune Zonal Council for the year 2026-27.

 

Subhasis Das is the Managing Director and Cluster President of Alfa Laval India, one of the world’s leading Swedish multinational engineering companies specializing in heat transfer, separation, and fluid‑handling technologies. An alumnus of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, he brings over 30 years of leadership experience from global majors including Coal India, Shell, Reliance Industries and Sandvik.

 

A transformative leader and change agent, Mr Das has a proven track record in driving large scale business turnarounds and pioneering digital and technological solutions and driving innovation led, customer centric strategies. At Alfa Laval, he focuses on advancing decarbonization, energy efficiency, and circularity across India’s energy, food, pharma and marine sectors. He is widely recognized for his strategic foresight and commitment to building sustainable, future ready industrial ecosystems.

Mr Nitin Mittal, Founder and Managing Director, Knest Manufacturers Pvt Ltd has been nominated as the Vice Chairman of CII Pune Zonal Council for the year 2026-27.

 

Nitin Mittal is the Founder and Managing Director of Knest, a global leader in aluminum formwork and construction technology.
