Sunil Chhetri, Sanju Samson, Jonathan, Shreeman Legend and Lolzzz Gaming join eFootball™’s festive campaign featuring special rewards, a Diwali-themed jersey and new in-game content
Windsor, UK – October 26, 2026 – Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. (KONAMI) announces the launch of the eFootball™ Diwali Campaign in India, bringing together celebrated sporting icons and some of the country’s leading gaming creators to celebrate the festival of lights through special in-game content.
As part of the campaign, undisputed football icon and India’s top-goalscorer for league and country, Sunil Chhetri receives an upgraded in-game player card, giving fans an opportunity to add a special version of the Indian football legend to their eFootball™ squad. The campaign also introduces a standout Diwali-themed jersey, created to celebrate the festival and India’s passionate football community.
Celebrating the campaign, Sunil Chhetri and Indian cricketer, Sanju Samson, known for his fearless batting and clean ball-striking, join esports athlete, Jonathan Gaming, veteran gaming creator Shreeman Legend and community favourite Lolzzz Gaming through specially created social media content and fan-focused activations. Running from October 22 – November 12, the campaign also features talent-led content, encouraging fans to join the festivities and experience the new in-game features and rewards.
